On October 28 Langara instructor Natalie Knight, representing working class mass organization United in Struggle, spoke out publicly in support of Palestinians’ right to resist occupation and to struggle for liberation.

In the following days Knight was condemned by the BC Minister of Post-Secondary Education Selina Robinson and placed on an indefinite administrative leave from her teaching position and barred from the Langara College campus.

Knight’s case is not isolated. Political repression to shut down people who speak out in support of Palestine is one of the ways the Canadian political establishment, including the BC NDP, have lined up behind Israel and their genocide in Gaza.

Join United in Struggle to stand against political repression and call for an end to the siege on Gaza and liberation for Palestine!
