
The East Van Workers Assembly has launched the Solidarity Workers Action Team, a flying squad to defend the interests of the working class broadly, and specifically to move into action when workers on the picket lines are waging active struggles against their bosses and the managerial lackeys.
After a few months of smaller solidarity actions with workers striking against Lantic/Rogers Sugar and Rogers Telecom, our first SWAT action was in solidarity with the workers of UNITE HERE Local 40 have been on strike since June 15th against the scab-deploying uber rich billionaire Lalji family!
